Day 17 / / A day in Bangkok

After we checked in yesterday with the √ s º have to Grandma in FF Guesthouse, we checked out again today. As our train was to go but only at 22.45 clock (you know it by now ;) The Thai √ § √ ° ndische P √ nktlichkeit lie above half an hour waiting for it), we asked dear whether we our luggage as long as √ § ck because let k √ ∂ nnten. That was nat √ º rlich no problem and began our walk through Bangkok √ ümarsch.

After a while, reached as the pier, where you can take a boat trip through Bangkok (or rather, can be let go: D). Our stop was the K √ ∂ nigspalast. On or nigspalast in K √ ∂ CKE should be just long pants or R √ ∂ wear and T-shirts with √ Ñrmeln. Anyone who is not dressed appropriately, there MUST borrow articles of clothing √ º purposes (per St √ º ck 200 baht deposit, but then you get to √ º ck).

However, entry costs 350 baht per person. Thus we have laid the tour at the end of the trip :)

So continue right through the city.
On the way we came in so many past business √ § ften to sell the M √ ∂ nchskleidung. Since we wanted to establish something like that, so we went into one of the business √ § fte. Matt took the 7-piece set of M √ § men. I did it because as a woman with 3 parts to the equation √ º ck a little easier :) And I really wanted such a case, the monks always wear the M √ ∂. Matt then decided to take a really ;) But the plan was, you choose to √ § ore that we have the gift of an M √ ∂ nch ... wait .... LENT got. He has given us n √ § namely in the depths of Buddhism introduced √ º leads and Matt pointed the way to enlightenment, P
Then I thought to myself, something that the whole ausgeschm √ º Something perhaps a bit too thick have been w √ § re: D

Our original route was to a museum and then to Siam Square (a large shopping center √ TUs). The museum is unfortunately not found (because the map was inaccurate TukTukFahrer. Even locals could not help), but √ º r daf the "Golden Mountain" (or "Golden Mount"). This 79 m high "mountain" offers peace of Stadtl √ § rm and one can well berblicken Bangkok √ º!

After a short break we went back into the rm Stadtl √ §. On to the shopping center. As usual, we need a plan where √ ° m long :)

Upon arrival, we were faced with a 7-st √ ∂ ckigem Shopping Center. These parts are always so hlt air conditioning Eisgek √ º that you have something in mind already, to enter the (heat-K √ § lte-heat .... is not known, bulging above). But good. Total managed by the long journey, we had the time regardless. Until we had the floors through, took a few hours and the road to √ √ ° ° ck f Hardness us past a Designuniversit √ § t, which we √ º nat rlich same time had to look at.

As it was in the afternoon / evening was, was the actuating drive Unibet √ º nat rlich out ;) We saw a few students and faculty. But you could look at a few works of students.

It was not long delayed ... again went to the Guest House for √ º ck.

Kindly we were allowed to shower quickly before going to the station, which is not in many usern G √ § √ § It goes stand √ § ndlich is.

When we were finished with showers, came another backpacker grade in the Guest House. From Berlin. We talked for a while with him. He had (a few pl tze √ §) the same problem as we do, that the train towards the S √ º was full.

When we wanted to go to grandma asked her if we have enough to drink. Since we had 3 L √ § ck in the luggage, they gave us water instead of a delicious mousse-au-chocolate cake filled with guided √ º with banana. Total s √ √ º u :)

Except for the total of the station filled with military √ § √ ° r bef was, was nothing more exciting going on ...

Day 15 / / Temple ruins and a toy museum in Ayutthaya

Today we got up early in order to escape the midday heat slightly. Has not only worked sooo very sorry.

We already know why the market here depends at 5 clock in the morning anf √ § ;)
Markets at all M √ § we are also ever noticed that markets for M √ § which are found no tourists, there are fixed prices and are often heads fish of any kind (death and live), H √ hnchen §, Schweinsk √ ∂ weight and looks √ º shortly. In between times small items and clothes.

Where tourists are to be found, we see no fish, no Schweinsk √ ∂ buttons or other goods may be deemed quite disgusting. Since most small items, clothes and pictures are sold. And there are usually specified prices.

But enough of markets M √ §. Let us turn to ruins and toys: D

Compared 8:30 we started. At the ruins over which we had already looked upon us yesterday. Passing a temple with an approximately 16 m high bronze Buddha. Around the Buddha images are around, as he once looked as if he destroyed or √ ∂ rt was (it was missing an arm and the head was slightly damaged √ § interred).

Next we went past a school that apparently rehearsed f √ º r a celebration and built. After a short break, we came to a toy museum (Million Toy Museum) past, that made by a famous Thai √ § √ ∂ ndischen Illustrator and it was opened.

On 2 levels spread out toys from different years. Tin cars, tin wind-up carousel, Barbies from 1961 to today. Old clocks with moving figures.

The garden was partly outdoors √ Bouveret with mosaic tiles and ornate with marble. And he had a lot of them. Admission was 100 baht per person.

From there, we are first again to the guest house (btw, the Grandparents home was. Very nice and helpful family.) For √ º ck. Escape from the heat ;)

After a while we are still exploring the place was something in the evening and we went to a temple or something au √ üerhalb.

At the temple Yai Chai Mongkol, there are numerous Buddha images. This series is also Buddha f √ º r backpackers and general travelers in Thailand, a known image. These degrees are usually in a "dress" go √ filled.

Day 14 / / Once in Ayutthaya

Morning 5:30 in Germa ... √ nhh I thought nat √ º rlich Thailand but the P √ ° nktlichkeit our car reminds me very to the German Federal Railways, as our train is minutes even 5 to fr √ º h at the destination Ayutthaya was.

After we gehechtet off the train we went todm √ º de on the way to Grandfather's Home Guest House, where we f √ º r 350 baht the night be mighty n √ §.

After a hot shower we set off towards the market and have a little look around in the area.

At noon it was then possible unertr √ § √ ü hot, so we moved into our guest house and have chilled the noonday √ º over.

On Fri √ º early evening we went again to visit some temples in front of the T √ º r and here we were enthusiastic as Sukhothai, because here everything is kind of sh √ ∂ √ § chtiger ners and pr :)

In order to make the day just perfect, we have a toy and Design Museum (yes i know u √, weird combination), visits with the illustrator has achieved here in Thailand, a lifelong dream.

Day 13 / / Last day in Nong Khai ...

And ... continue to Ayutthaya.
With the overnight train √ º f r 948 baht. Morning at 5:48 clock we arrive. But first of today's adventures :)

After we got up early, showered and had packed everything in peace, we checked out around 11 clock. Could our jerk √ § CKE but can still be there. So we started to visit the last things in Nong Khai.

After we are so yesterday along already on the promenade strolled, we were going again accessible during the day then to the tip of a submerged chedi ruins (Chedi = sanctuary. Orig √ ° there was a Grabh √ º gel there are / were highly revered Buddhist kept for relics) to see. Was not soooo exciting. And it is amazing how a kind of temple is completely vesinken in the Mekong ... and how deep the water level drops w √ § during the dry season (about 13 m) (otherwise you can see the top n √ § namely not).

Once the tip shows schm √ º locals bridges it with flags and standing on the shore of Phra That Nong Khai is illuminated in the evening light.

After a small break on the yesterday besichtigtem Phra That Nong Khai we went to Wat Pho Chi. There is a 1.5 meter high Buddha figure whose head is made of pure gold.

The only way there seemed to be, unfortunately, a FEW kilometers further than our map indicated. Hlten for good 2 or more 3 km and found √ º 50 ;) We ordered a TukTuk. After we visited the little guy (the Buddha, 1.5 meters), we took the TukTuk to about 3 km from the Wat Kaeo Ku (f √ º r 100 baht down and √ º ck: D).

Wat Kaeo Ku is a (unfortunately) little Buddha garden with impressive sculptures. The trip there was worth in any case and we found it much more interesting than, say, the ruins of Sukhothai.

Then √ Bouveret we lie to us again Mut Mee Guest House run, where we stayed for approx 1 1/2 hours in the garden restaurant. Against 18 clock we made our way to the railway station.
